Synopsis

The Zondervan Biblical and Theological Lectures series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, A Survey of the New Testament: Audio Lectures includes high quality live-recordings of college-level lectures that cover the important points from each subject as well as relevant material from other sources.A Survey of the New Testament: Audio Lectures accompanies Robert Gundry's now-classic survey of the New Testament, a mainstay for college and graduate courses around the world, having been used by thousands of professors and students. Each chapter is introduced by an overview lesson, followed by a handful of short sessions on key topics. Accessibly formatted and focused on the most significant topics and discussions in the textbook, A Survey of the New Testament: Audio Lectures is an indispensable resource for students and independent learners alike.

While there is not a lot of detail or insight given to the current-day controversial passages of Scripture (like gifts of the Spirit, gender roles, church polity, eschatology etc…) Gundry did a fantastic job of simply......more

A basic Baptist reference work for the NT nothing special, nothing substantial. Also, the author apparently has been going off the deep end so I doubt it will be in use for much longer.......more
