As an audiobook narrator, he has narrated many titles in different genres. Among his most notable works are the Hamish Macbeth mysteries by M. C. Beaton. Shaun also garnered an AudioFile Earphones Award for his reading of The Roving Party by Rohan Wilson.
Fiona Hardingham is a British-born actress, singer, voice-over artist, and AudioFile Earphones Award–winning narrator. The plot may be a little overdone (the "my husband dies and I find out he has a secret life" saga) but Clarke adds a few extra twists and turns into this plot line that make th......more
(3.5 rounded up) Ok, so this book totally tricked me! It’s way more romance than I usually go for! There are definitely some convoluted questions & the general feeling of suspense.. but it’s not a thriller. Still, the characters are good & if you enjoy this romance/mystery genre I’ve been noticing l......more
“The plot twists are good—too good to spoil—and there is just enough of Tasmania’s rough wildness to transport the reader. As in Swimming at Night, Clarke weaves secrets and betrayals and the inner journey of a quiet, appealing everywoman.” Booklist
“An intensely emotional story of love, loss, and deception…Clarke skillfully envelops readers in a delicate, romantic story tinged with intrigue and set in a breathtakingly exotic locale…An entertaining narrative.” Kirkus Reviews
