About Michael Hague

Michael Hague has illustrated some of the best-loved works of children's literature, including The Velveteen Rabbit, The Wizard of Oz, and The Teddy Bears' Picnic. His lush, detailed watercolors have earned him a dedicated following and a reputation as one of America's foremost illustrators of books for children. He lives with his wife, Kathleen, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

About Kathleen McInerney

Kathleen McInerney has narrated numerous audiobooks by bestselling authors such as Emily Giffin, Danielle Steel, Jeffrey Stepakoff, Mary Kay Andrews, and Linda Castillo. Ferraiolo’s Big Splash and, for Macmillan Young Listeners, Uri Shulevitz’s Caldecott Honor-winning Snow.

The illustrations are simply beautiful and heartwarming; but some of the prayers or poems collected I had to skip over because they were unscriptural (e.g., praying to the apostles, Mark, Luke, and angels to provide protection.
