This book is Sandra Brown at her very best. The intricate tangles and twists and turns makes this book the one that you stay up all night to read. Loved it.

Loved the characters and the fact that there were many unanswered questions that were finally answered towards the very end of the book. Liked the relationship between ' The Witness and her husband. Makes you wonder how many nut cases are really out there!

I liked this book..not too heavy... woman on the run so she doesnt have to be witness to a crime because she doesnt think the fbi will protect her. guy with amnesia.. i like the way it mixes flashbacks with whats happening now. it makes it much more natural to read than just telling the story in a line. the ending was a little blah, too everything in its place. but overall, a good book.

This is my first Sandra Brown book. Since she is a popular contemporary author, Id had hopes. But this is little more than a Harlequin Romance with more graphic sex. The esteemed heroine, who loves the law and risks it all to save herself and her child, reports a murderous group of racists to the authorities. But shes also a woman who steals someones identity to get a new job. Yeah, great ethics, esteemed heroine. And why she didnt go to newspapers when the FBI wasnt responding to her reports is beyond me. I found it to be disappointing and silly. Amnesia? Good god, what a vehicle for a poor novel.
