When she got there, the doors on the opposite side opened to the stairway lobby. Her mother’s suite was locked out for some unknown reason. When she came off, she saw the manager. Among others, they were there in the lobby wringing their hands and worrying. Even so, her face mirrored the concern that she felt in her heart, it was deeply etched with worry as she paced the floor waiting to come out.
