Perez the Mouse

When the young king Bubi loses his first tooth, Perez the tooth mouse comes to pay him a visit.Although these characters may be unfamiliar to English speakers, they are household names in many countries around the world. In Spanish-speaking countries, Perez the Mouse is akin to the Tooth Fairy, which is why he's also frequently called the Tooth Mouse ("El Raton de los Dientes" in Spanish). This translation is an abridged version of Luis Coloma's original short story, Raton Perez, first published in Spain in 1911.
