So I&#8217;ll go to yet another list of great travel books &#8211; remember the Daily Telegraph list we saw &#8211;\u00a0 let&#8217;s go to that for Eric Newby&#8217;s\u00a0 <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/travel\/artsandculture\/travelbooks\/4932008\/The-20-best-travel-books-of-all-time.html?image=14\">A Short walk in the Hindu Kush<\/a><\/span><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; &#8212; but readers of the much-loved book are recompensed with a hilarious segment that recounts a mountain-side encounter with the adventurer Wilfred Thesiger: &#8220;We started to blow up our air-beds. &#8216;God, you must be a couple of pansies,&#8217; said Thesiger.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Want an audiobook? How about Mark Twain&#8217;s <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audiobooksnow.com\/#!p=details&amp;id=101309\">Following the Equator<\/a><\/span><\/em>, about his Pacific journey.
