Author Bio

How many times do we hear of anyone following exactly the career path that they always dreamed of? For author, Christine Feehan, the dream came true. She talks about how she always wanted to be a writer, as far back as she can remember. She began writing at a very early age, and required her sisters to read each of her works before being sent to a publisher. Currently, her daughters help with that job......to edit and critique the work before it is submitted for publication. That is called literally, keeping it all in the family.

Feehan has always loved family time. She came from a huge family and she and her husband, Richard, had a blended family with 11 children. She is a strong advocate of women helping each other. During one period in her life, she learned self-defense, then taught it to women who had been abused.

Feehan is a consistent #1 New York Times bestselling author, with over 70 published novels. These also include five series....... Dark Series, Ghostwalker Series, Leopard Series, Drake Sisters Series, the Sisters of the Heart Series, and Torpedo Ink. In her own words......."I've been a writer all my life......it is who I am. I write for myself and always have."

Extremely juvenile - written for a 15 yr old romantic. The author is obvious in her writing, where one can almost call the next sentence. I believe she was raised on teenage romance novels and is trying so hard to emulate them, adding Shades of Grey aspects without the talent. I could not waste my time finishing this novel, shaking my head constantly in disgust. I suggest you listen to a sample prior to buying this book. The narrator was just as boring as the author.

I checked this out from my local library a couple of days ago and felt compelled to write a review. This book was so stupid that I did not finish it. As soon as Mikhail meets Raven he loves her and insists that they belong together forever. It is about them constantly having sex and him not telling her what he truly is. Raven is so annoying. You could care less whether or not these two end up happily after. I'm just amazed at the high rating this book received. Oh, and there is absolutely no plot to keep the story interesting. I will not be reading the other books in this series! I am back to reading my Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum Series until I can find a more interesting read.
